Prop 8 The Fight That Never Ends

Prop 8 has made its say but the far left just will not let it end. Where Do Stand?

By Richard Espinoza lead editor and reporter for the Espinoza Report.

People have been asking my opinion on Prop 8 and where I stand. Do I agree with it ? or I am against it? Before I begin let me start off saying that I do have friends who are openly gay and yes I even have some women friends or are lesbians. I look at them as good people even though I may not agree to their life style but its their life. The question is " What defines the word marriage ?" Marriage in my point of view defines a union between man and women and gay couple should be knowing as domestic partners. Even my friends who are gay even agree with me. They tell me they have no problem expecting the title domestic partners. They agree that gay marriage is something that is not.

Two man do not make a marriage and two women do not make a marriage. What makes a marriage is man and women because it takes a man and women to make a baby. Two man do not make a baby and neither do two women so it can not be called a marriage it should be called Mr. and Mr. domestic partner or Ms. and Ms. domestic partner. There is a reason why a man has a penis and a woman has a vagina those parts of a body is what makes a marriage that makes them husband and wife. The far left may think other wise but its just a fact and that is gay marriage is something that it is not and it does not defined a real marriage.

What the State of California and the gay right groups should do is work out a deal. If gay rights activist group are willing to expect the title domestic partnership then the State of California should allow gay couple share the same benefits as straight couples without using the title married couple and use the title domestic partnership. To me its almost the same thing but just a different title. However, gay rights groups on the far left will not expect that but they should.

To me children should be bought up to look at marriage as a symbol of man and women . There is a reason why a Man is a Dad and Women is a Mom that is what defines a marriage. Its bad enough a school distract up in Northern California has a allowed teachers to read to kids about the story about the homosexual penguins which has upset many parents. Despite the fact many parents rejected this issue the school broad voted to allow the teachers to read the story to kids. As a result the parents pulled their kids and send them to private school. Again I have nothing against people being gay at all .

To show you have no prejudice against gays and lesbians I am a strong supporter of the pink pistols which is a gay gun rights group. In fact I have donated $20 to the pink pistols in their court battle against the hand gun ban in San Francisco. I am gun rights activist and I believe that every person gay, straight, black, white, or any person of any racial back ground should have a right to keep in bare arms. After all their fight is my fight when our second amendment rights are under attack. When children become teens and they discover that he or she is gay then I would have no problem with public schools giving them private counseling or offer hot line numbers for teens to call if they do not want to face their parents on this issue. However, we should not teach children about gay marriage in public schools and let them deal with sexual
preference when they are ready to come out.

Then many of liberals ask me " Why do I support a gay person right to own a gun and I do not support their right to be married?" To answer the question owning a gun is a civil rights issue and being gay is an issue of sexual behavior and there for it should not be in the same category as civil rights or for that matter it should not be in the same category as being a minority because being gay is not a race or skin color its just sexual preference. Yes its one thing if a gay person is being fired from his or her job for what they are is wrong that is discrimination. But gay marriage is a another issue because as I point out it is not what it is and it does not defined marriage but defines as domestic partners. Again gay couples can and should be able to share the same benefits as straight married couples but please use to title domestic partner is that too much to ask?

Everything has its opposites just like there is Men's restrooms and Women restrooms. A horse is not a donkey and donkey is not a zebra. So there for the opposites of a married couple is domestic partners. That's the way it is and that is the way it should be. I know I may piss off a lot of liberals on this issue but I do not care. There comes a time you have to show some guts and never be afraid to say what is on your mind.

This is Richard Espinoza logging off from the Espinoza Report
Reminding you " Show some guts and don't be afraid to say it"
